How to book a lesson on Elucidated English
Booking a lesson on Elucidated English is designed to be clear, simple, and transparent from start to finish.
All available lessons are displayed as individual lesson cards. Each lesson includes the lesson topic, date, and time, shown in Standard South African Time (SAST) in the lesson title.
Step 1: Choose your lesson
Browse the available lessons and select the lesson that best suits your interests and availability.
The lesson title shows the scheduled lesson time in SAST
The lesson image can be clicked to view more detailed information
Inside the lesson description, the lesson time is automatically displayed in your local time zone, for easy reference
This ensures you can quickly confirm the correct time without needing to do manual time conversions.
Step 2: Add the lesson to your basket
Once you have chosen your lesson:
Click the “Add to basket” button
Review your selection in the basket
Proceed to checkout when ready
Each lesson is booked individually to keep scheduling clear and lesson preparation focused.
Step 3: Secure payment via PayFast
All payments on Elucidated English are processed securely through PayFast, a trusted South African payment gateway.
PayFast allows for:

To keep lesson prices fair and sustainable, Elucidated English currently uses PayFast as its sole payment option. This ensures that payment processing costs remain manageable and that lesson quality remains the top priority.
After payment
Once payment is successfully completed:
your booking is confirmed
you will receive a confirmation note within your student profile with all relevant lesson details
your lesson time and topic are secured
